Its been just over a week since British country Singer Jade Helliwell went viral after singing with a Busker on a night out in Leeds. The singer has today confirmed that she has signed a deal with management company Roar Global who manages the likes of Pixie Lott, Emma Bunton, Jeremy Kyle, Lorraine Kelly, Mark Wright and Joan Collins among others. Jade will be managed by Professor Jonathan Shalit OBE. Jade is said to be “Super Excited” at signing the deal which could see her become one of Britain’s Biggest country stars in a long while.

While this big news broke Country At Heart received a message from the UK Official Charts company as to why singer Jade Helliwell did not enter any official chart after being number 1 on the amazon UK and iTunes country album charts and hit atleast 8 in the iTunes downloads chart. Chris Austin of the official charts company said “Unfortunately the Forget The Night EP does not meet the chart rules criteria as either an Album or a Single, therefore this EP cannot chart. The individual tracks are eligible as singles, however no individual tacks sold/streamed enough to appear on the chart.”

Chris Austin went on to clarify the individual rules that made the Forget The Night EP Ineligible.

  • To be a single, the product must be 4 songs or few and less than 25 mins total duration
  • For a product to be eligible as an album, it must have a published dealer price (PPD) of £3.76 or greater”

Although this will come as a disappointment the singer will no doubt be thankful for the massive boost her career has been given the last week.

CONGRATULATIONS JADE
