Philippa Hanna “Getting On with Life” in new video and tour dates

Premiered on The Boot yesterday, and following its first national radio play on BBC R2’s Bob Harris Country (“I absolutely love it… superb”) in February, we’re excited to share the latest music video from rising UK country star Philippa Hanna – ‘Getting On With Life

The single ‘Getting On With Life’ delivers a thoughtful lyric with a contemporary pop production, infused with country elements. In her own words: “During the time my Dad was going through chemotherapy, I realised my patience was pretty short. When a stranger pushed past me in
town so forcefully it knocked me sideways, I almost called after her in anger. But in a truly a defining moment for me I realised… she might
be going through something similar to me. That shift in perspective gave me the inspiration for ‘Getting On With Life’.”

Move over Taylor Swift, check out Philippa” – Maverick Magazine

I’ve never been a big country music fan, but Philippa is that good, she’s got me into it, that’s a massive achievement! – Christian Carlisle, BBC Radio Sheffield

Sounding just gorgeous” – Clare Balding, BBC Radio 2

Her latest album ‘Come Back Fighting’ topped the UK iTunes Country Chart, reached #1 on the OCC Christian & Gospel album chart and has already gained supported from BBC Radio 2 with plays on Bob Harris Country and a live session on the first edition of Good Morning Sunday in its new format.

Philippa’s unique brand of pop/country/gospel has proven to hold a broad appeal having opened tours for acts including Lionel Richie, Leona Lewis and Little Mix. Having visited 25 countries around the world with her music, she is taking her own headline show on the road this April presented by Marshall Arts, long-term promoters of acts including Paul McCartney and Elton John:
